I am no good at portrait stuff so don't feel qualified to give you a 'critique'. I will say that I like the soft effect here and the compositions seem very nice :o)
Okay I have shot "millions" of portraits but the school sausage factory type of shot LOL so dont know if I am qualified to critique these. I am not a major fan of soft focus unless the eyes are in focus at least. In all three of these I feel she doesnt look comfortable, she appears to be leaning forward and stretching her chin out which isnt giving her a relaxed look (I just wish we could still see the pictures while we are commenting so that we can check back and forth). She is a very pretty young lady. The muted colors are nice but I would also like to see them with a bit more punch/contrast?

#2 is the winner ... the first one doesn't do it for me ... and i don't like that soft focus stuff.
#2 has good lighting and it's sharp. good image!!

Like the pose in the 1st one (not straight on) but would like the other side of her face lighted a little more evenly.
