Fishing In Comfort

Not me. In the interests of impersonality this is a picture of a total stranger sitting in his car waiting for the tide to come in. This PAD business really is forcing me to get my camera out more and go looking for pictures - and then to edit them. So far the light has been horrible (I work nights and can only get out in late afternoon when it's already too late and the cold and rain don't really work in favour of doing anything more complicated than pointing the thing and pressing the button) - but maybe as the days get longer i can get some more appealing shots.

Not to worry, you are doing great! Don't be afraid of a night shot, either. Lights reflected in puddles can be very interesting as well.

Afternoon light can be so lovely. Just get a tripod, and you might be able to do some long exposures at night as well.
